My grandfather’s brooch
YoMem - Young Messengers of European Memory
In this story, Pauline talks about her first brooch, given to her by her grandfather.
A short fragment of the story

My grandfather bought this brooch for me during a business trip organized in Switzerland during wintertime. I was about 8 years old at this time.

This brooch is still in my jewelry box. It was my first brooch and every time I open my jewelry box I see it, I get a twinge in my heart and think of my grandfather. It reminds me of the time when my grandfather was still alive.

I would like to discover this European country which is a mix of diverse languages with a beautiful natural landscape.
