My delicious memories – Story from Fuad
I am a migrant from Lebanon. My name is Fuad. Although the Bulgarian people are friendly to the Arab people sometimes they ask me – why are you not in your country to help the community? I always explain I like my country, the people, I have relatives there but everybody is looking for a better life with peace and stability.

Why this story is important
The Bulgarian people like very much the Arab kitchen. Especially the sweets – our Lebanese baklava is very delicious, without too much sugar, but a lot of walnuts and rose and orange blossom water, special cow butter. Lebanese baklava is best served as a dessert with tea or coffee. It is my memory how my grandma used to prepare baklava and always cut it in rhombs.
