La storia di un acquerello che ho trovato in casa e che narra un pezzetto di storia di un membro della mia famiglia perseguitato durante il nazista, che fu nell'Europa di allora un uomo di pace.
A short fragment of the story

... Ho trovato questo piccolo tesoro tra i quadri che abbiamo scelto nella divisione dei beni di Marel, mia nonna tedesca, e dello zio Kaspi. 

Spacchettando il quadro dall’imballaggio in modo forse troppo veloce, il vetro, che non era ben fermo nella cornice, è scivolato per terra, spaccandosi in tre pezzi. Mi dispiace sempre quando si rompe un vetro… 

Ma ora conta il ricordo di questo quadro, che mia nonna teneva appeso nella sua stanza proprio davanti al suo letto nella casa di Bergen, un paesino nascosto tra le Alpi bavaresi, dove andò ad abitare dai primi anni ’60.
