ACTMEM – Active Memory, Erasmus Plus Project
The ACTMEM project, Erasmus Plus youth action, is based on the importance of memory, understood both as historical memory and as “memory of the present“. Memory, made “alive” through effective and creative ways to tell and share, can become an engine, activate cooperation, the planning of people and communities, strengthening social relationships
The storytelling workshops, carried out in local contexts, will involve young people in the narration or collection of memories related to the themes of solidarity, inclusion, commitment to change.
These memories of the past and present will be a collective heritage to create – through an activity that will involve participants from different countries – narratives capable of fueling the values of solidarity, peace, inclusion, as fundamental values for human coexistence.
The “ACTMEM – Active Memories” project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ Program of the European Union, and implemented by: Arci Valdarno (Italy – Coordinator), Sozial Label (Germany), European Information Center (Bulgaria), Storie Di Mondi Possibili (Italy), Associação Recreativa, Cultural E Social De Silveirinhos (Portogallo).
