Why this story is important
It was my favourite dish for Easter. It was the smell of the holiday for me. We were poor and usually our everyday food was without meat. But for Easter we always had the best meat, fresh lamb. Usually my mom asked me to go to the garden and pick a lot of mint so I also had my contribution to the Easter menu. My mom served it with homemade yoghurt, cheese and the taste was unforgettable. It Is the only meat I eat and it is because of the fantastic smell of mint.
